FRADE is 30 years old this year, why not celebrate with us?

This year is a special one for us as we mark 30 years since we were founded. Frade started by local Councillor Julia May Cherrett [Nee Roberts] in 1990.

Julia was certainly a pioneer, setting up our organisation in her garage in 1990 and forming the Charity, a few short years later.

Thirty years later, we are still going from strength to strength, a wonderful, lasting legacy.

Since then, with your help, we’ve supported thousands of families with their needs to stay within their communities, move into new homes or improve their existing accommodation.

While we want to celebrate all that we have achieved in the last 30 years, we are mindful that there are still many more families that need our special support.

Our vision to help all low income families in the North-east of England who need us, and we need your help to make this happen.

So join in the celebrations and help us make this year our best ever!

We are offering an incredible 30% off all pre-loved furniture and household goods for one week only. From the 26th till 31st October pop-in to your local store.
