Without the many volunteers that walk through our door’s day in and day out we simply couldn’t provide the service we do; volunteers are the back bone of FRADE and without them FRADE would not exist.
They provide us with their time supporting our local community so this year just like every year we wanted to do a little something for them to show our appreciation.
We were not able to treat them to a Christmas dinner at a restaurant this year due to COVID-19 regulations, so each store did something special for their volunteers at the Stockton store we provided them with an assortment of sandwiches and refreshments from Subway.
It is a small gesture, but we had to do something to say thank you.
Michelle Tierney (Volunteer Manager) said:
“Thank you so much to our amazing FRADE volunteers working in Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington and Northallerton sites for the immeasurably valuable work you have done this year for our charity! We cannot thank you enough and we wanted to let you know that your dedication is essential to the work that we do for our local residents and communities. We could not do it without you, and we would not want to do it without you! You bring ideas, positive energy and an amazing level of commitment that can never be understated.”
Volunteering has many benefits not only for the organisation but also for the individual, if you would like to get involved and volunteer your time give us a call on 01642 608791 and see what positions we have available for you.
Thank you to all of our volunteers for your continued support throughout 2020 and we look forward to working with you again next year, from all of the staff and board of directors at FRADE Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all.
