We would like to extend a warm welcome to our all friends, family and supporters, and announce that we are ready to re-open our Stockton and Darlington store.

We need to let you know about a few changes we have introduced to the way we work, to keep everyone safe.

It has been necessary to make some changes in store, to ensure ‘social distancing’ can safely take place, so we ask that all our visitors queue in an orderly fashion before entering the store. We know the weather is against US, so will try and be as quick as possible to let you back into browse.

Please respect others queuing and stay 2 meters apart.

There's signs on the windows explaining that we can only have THREE GROUPS of no more than TWO PEOPLE in store at any one time. If you are a large family of six or more, please respect our decision and work with us to ensure that we can serve everyone.

We're are also asking that if you are shopping with someone under 16 please make sure that they abide by the new social distancing relegations in place and this will be appreciated.

Please understand we will be enforcing this and you may be asked to wait when you come inside the store. At the entrance you will notice there's a hand sanitizer station that you couldn't miss if you wanted to.

We have gloves, masks, wipes and sanitizer available for all our visitors.

We've put in place ‘orange and black’ floor markings to show the direction of customer traffic flows and also two meter distancing to enable visitors to travel throughout the store using our one-way system.

We also need to ensure that the system works, so if you are approaching another visitor in the store please be respectful of each other and keep your distance.

While you're looking around please avoid touching surfaces.

We have put in place a regular cleaning system but we're more than happy to help if you need something taken off a shelf or pulled out to view.

We also have clear plastic sheets if you fancy trying out the sofas or beds.

Although we are asking people to try to pay with a card wherever possible, we're still happy to take cash. Our till areas must be respected and we have installed ‘sneeze screens’ for our staff protection. Visitors still need to book deliveries and collections as well as pay for goods.

Finally, we have installed purpose made screens, which have a clear screen to protect everyone while we talk together.

We also wipes and sanitizer available at the card machine and surfaces.

If you have any questions, worries or want to check how things are in store before coming do give us a call. We look forward to welcoming our customers, friends and family back and look forward to seeing you all on Monday 15th June 2020.

Stay safe and best wishes from

Michael Bertram, Chief Executive Officer.
