FRADE is the result of Stockton-on-Tees faith communities’ practical response to poverty which existed in the community in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.
An initial appeal for donations of furniture to support one family being re-homed in 1990 has led to what we are today – a significant provider of good quality, mainly pre-used household furniture to benefit families and individuals within the Tees Valley area, a provider of employment and work experience placements and a promoter of sustainable living.
